1
Placed automatically
After your first session each week, you are placed in a Study Hall. Points from every session that week count as Season Points (SP).
2
Compete all week
Every exam you complete earns SP for your weekly standing. The more sessions you do and the higher you score, the more SP you accumulate.
3
Results on Sunday night
Top 4 students are promoted to the next hall level. Bottom 4 are relegated to the hall below. The middle 12 stay in the same hall next week.
Section 6
Battle Mode Explained

Battle Mode lets you compete head-to-head against a friend or an AI. Both sides answer the same questions. The higher score wins. It is asynchronous: your opponent has 24 hours to complete their side.

VS Friend

1
Create a battle
Select a subject and question count. A 6-character code is generated (e.g. PX7K2M).
2
Share the code
Send the code to your friend. They enter it on the battle page to join.
3
Both complete the battle
Answer the questions. Your friend answers the same questions independently. The results are compared when both sides are done.

VS AI

Choose Easy (40% accuracy), Medium (65% accuracy), or Hard (85% accuracy). The AI plays its side instantly after you finish. Great for practising competitive pressure without waiting for a friend.

Streaks

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you have completed at least one session. Maintaining a streak is the most reliable way to stay consistent in your preparation.

Miss a day and your streak resets to zero, unless you have an Exam Leave shield active.

Exam Leave

After a 7-day streak, you earn one Exam Leave shield. This protects your streak from one missed day. It is consumed automatically if you miss a day while it is active. Once used, it must be re-earned by reaching a 7-day streak again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why did my streak reset?
Your streak resets when you miss a full calendar day without completing any session. Make sure to complete at least one session before midnight each day to maintain your streak. If you had an Exam Leave shield active, it would have been used automatically; check your streak card to confirm.
How are Battle Points different from Academic Points?
Academic Points come from exam sessions (Flash CBT, Topic Drill, Year Vault, Speed Burst) and determine your Academic Rank and Study Hall placement. Battle Points only come from Battle Mode results and determine your Battle Rank. The two systems are completely separate.
When does the weekly Study Hall reset?
Study Hall standings are calculated every Sunday night. Promotions and relegations take effect the following Monday when the new week begins. Season Points reset to zero each Monday. Your Academic Points and Battle Points are not affected by the weekly reset.
What happens if my opponent doesn't complete a battle?
Battles expire after 24 hours. If your opponent does not complete their side within 24 hours, the battle expires and no result is recorded. You can create a new battle and challenge them again.
Can I change my exam focus after signup?
Yes. Go to your Dashboard and click the Exam Focus card to change between UNILAG and OAU. Your progress, points, and ranks are preserved; only the question bank and format will change.
How is mastery calculated in Topic Drill?
Your best score on each topic determines its mastery level. Score 80% or above to reach Mastered. 61–79% is Improving. 41–60% is Learning. Any score below that is Attempted. Keep drilling a topic until it reaches Mastered to maximise your exam readiness.
Do my points from the free trial carry over after subscribing?
Yes. All points, ranks, streaks, and progress earned during your free trial are permanently saved to your account and carry over when you subscribe. Nothing is lost.
